LEARNING STYLE PHILOSOPHY

Kids Drawing

We believe students with dyslexia learn best when given opportunities to:

  • Be viewed, taught, accepted and respected as individuals with unique strengths and learning styles in collaborative and encouraging environments.

  • Understand and respect individual strengths and learning styles in others and celebrate all that makes them unique and amazing.

  • Set reasonable and achievable yet challenging goals within their education as well as for themselves.

  • Discover their personal strengths and learning styles and practice advocating for themselves based on these qualities.

  • Receive appropriate instruction in areas they find challenging, while being allowed to excel in the areas of their strengths.
